Boat Safety

Memorial Day Weekend is notorious for boating all over the country. It is crucial to have your Vessel Safety Checks completed. Offered for free by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and the United States Power Squadrons, certified vessel examiners will perform a Vessel Safety Check on your boat.

There is no charge, and there are no consequences if you do not pass. However, you will receive a written report in how to correct any discrepancies.

There is a peace of mind that comes with knowing that your vessel has been professionally checked by a certified safety specialist, and meets federal safety standards.

Please follow The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary sign up sheet to request a free Vessel Safety Check!

Year after year, accident reports skyrocket through Memorial Day Weekend, often resulting in a fatality. Accidents and the like can be avoided by following laws and common sense while out on your vessel.
