It is no fresh news that sea levels are at a rise at an alarming rate. Recent studies show that Florida is at the highest risks for flooding because of Florida’s unique geographic location. These concerns come from the destabilization of an ice sheet of West Antarctica. The study estimates that the rise of 2.3 meters over a course of the next two thousand years. What does this mean for us boaters? Well, plenty of fresh ocean water to set sail in!
