44th Annual Fort Myers Boat Show
The 44th Annual Fort Myers Boat Show is taking place this weekend from Thursday, November 17th through Sunday, November 20th. The event is at the Harbor Event Center and City Yacht Basin and is shaping up to be the biggest show in the last several years.
The Fort Myers Boat Show is owned by the Southwest Florida Marine Industries Association. The association, whose membership includes virtually every boat dealer and marine related company in Southwest Florida, has protected the rights of boaters and promoted boating and the marine industry in Southwest Florida for more than 40 years.
The boat display at the Fort Myers Boat Show is unique in its set up with indoor, outdoor, and in-water displays. You will find a variety of inshore and offshore fishing boats, custom skiffs, pontoon and deck boats and virtually every type of boat to enjoy your time on the water. With hundreds of trailer-able boats of every style imaginable both indoors and outdoors, there is no other show on Florida’s west coast with a more complete lineup.
As well as the unique boat displays, The Fort Myers Boat Show holds Fishin’ Village in Centennial Park; which is its own mini-fishing show. There will be tackle displays with many factory reps on hand, a seminar area with local charter captains talking about inshore and offshore fishing, a casting tank, and the popular fishing simulator which gives visitors a chance for a virtual battle with everything from bass to Marlin.
In addition to the boat displays and Fishin’ Village, You will find more than 500 boats, 160 accessory booths, 100 plus different boat lines, and a variety of how-to and boating information displays. From engines and electronics to docks and boat lifts, to all types of marine services to clothing and nautical gift items, and just about everything else you need on the water, you will most likely find it inside the Harborside Event Center or throughout the outdoor displays.
