Recipes on the water brings you a delicious and easy to follow recipe for a Pumpkin pie with orange spice martini.

Your guests will love this tropical inspired twist on a classic holiday drink.

This recipe is easy to follow but requires a small amount of prep time. Syrup must be chilled an hour before so plan your prep time for these delicious drinks around that!

And as always safety first. Do not operate your vessel under the influence of alcohol. There should be a sober operator on the vessel at all times.

Ingredients :

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

3 cups orange vodka (Smirnoff recommended)

Cranberry flavor seltzer, chilled

Orange slices for garnish

(To make this holiday classic even more tropical, add half a cup of fresh pineapple juice to the recipe. The extra citrus and sweetness will bring your guests to the shore of Siesta Key in no time)

Directions :

In a small pot over medium heat mix together the sugar and pumpkin pie spice.

Add 1 cup of water.

Bring to a boil, remove from the heat, and allow to cool for one hour.

Stir the mixture until blended.

(If using the pineapple juice, add during this step)

Add the cranberry seltzer and pour into chilled martini glasses.

Add extra sugar syrup to taste (Be careful not to make it too sweet!)

Garnish with orange slices for presentation.

To add another festive kick that your guests will love, you can mix sugar, cinnamon, and a little of the pumpkin pie spice to make a sugar rim that is festive and fitting)
